I’ve been in financial services for over 19 years. What still gets me out of bed every day is the moment a client gets clarity. When something that felt overwhelming becomes a plan they actually understand and feel good about.
Before this I worked in hospitality and qualified as a scuba instructor. Both taught me that trust and staying calm under pressure matter just as much as knowing your stuff. I listen properly, ask the right questions, and tell you what I actually think.
I qualify at Top of the Table MDRT level. I speak at international conferences, lead within the global MDRT community, and bring that back to every client I work with in New Zealand.
Outside work: Formula 1, travel, good food. Ideally all at once.
Rick has decades of experience building financial advice businesses and leading high-performing teams. Before financial services, he spent ten years with elite automotive brands – Lotus, Audi, Ferrari – and once held a New Zealand land speed record for exactly one day.
